Principal Chairman and CEO Dart Entities
Terry Dedeaux began his career at Dart unloading railcars at the age of 15. Over the years, he worked in every field of the logistics business while attending school. After graduation from USC, he operated a small local trucking business (Commercial Transfer) for five years. In 1978, Terry assumed the position of Vice President of Operations with Dart Transportation Service, a nationally recognized truckload carrier. In 1970, he became President and a member of Dart’s Executive Committee and a Board Member. In the ensuing years, he was responsible for the tremendous growth in Dart’s trucking and equipment leasing operations throughout the country. In 2005, Terry was elected Chairman and CEO of Dart Entities, a recognized premier logistics organization.
In addition to truck and equipment leasing, Dart’s warehousing operations have grown to over 6 million square feet, specializing in contract and public warehousing. Dedeaux Properties, a division of Dart Entities, of which Terry is the managing partner, has aggressively developed properties in the Southern California area. When combined with Dedeaux Properties and its affiliates; Dart Entities controls owns or operates over 8 million square feet of industrial property. Terry resides in Huntington Beach.
